Run for the Kids - Saturday, February 13, 2016

The 6th Annual Run For The Kids will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at beautiful Blanchard Park near UCF. In preparation for Valentine's Day, we will "Run Our Heart Out" for our community. Come out for great activities, games, and fun!

The 5K (3.1 miles) is your first opportunity to stand up and help your community.  For a little extra challenge, double your distance and try out our 10K (6.2 miles)!  If you're really brave - or looking for twice the bling - you can test your endurance with the Distance Dare: a 5K and a 10K back-to-back!

If you want to Run for the Kids but can't be at the race in person, we now offer a Virtual Racer option. Simply sign up for any of the three Virtual Race options, run your desired distance the week of February 8, and post a photo on Facebook of you at the end of your run with #EOCKiwanisRuns. We will send you your Run for the Kids gear!

Following the 5K & 10K, there will be a FREE Kids' Fun Run as well as refreshments, vendors, giveaways, and entertainment! Your participation benefits service leadership programs in our local schools.

Thanks to our attendees, sponsors, and Kiwanis members, our Charity Dinner, Poker, and Bingo Event on November 28th was a HUGE SUCCESS! We raised over $2250 to support the Kids and Schools in East Orange County. UCF CKI raised $120 with Bingo for Babies to help Eliminate deaths caused by Tetanus around the world.
